From The Chief:

The City of Hurstbourne Acres is a fifth-class city located in Louisville, Kentucky. The Hurstbourne Acres Police Department was formed in 1963. The Police Department serves and protects our resident population of 4,200. We are the primary Law Enforcement Agency for our great city. Approximately 10,000 people work and shop in Hurstbourne Acres daily. We have undergone our accreditation process which has professionalized our department. I feel strongly that with our Block Watch partners we can continue to have one of the lowest crime rates in eastern Jefferson County.
