The goals of our police department are as follows:

1. To develop an effective, efficient and responsive management system for the Hurstbourne Acres Police Department.

2. To increase the interaction between the citizens of Hurstbourne Acres and the members of the police department in order to foster a proactive environment for crime prevention and community safety. |

3. To increase job satisfaction and retention for members of the Hurstbourne Acres Police Department. |

4. To elevate the Hurstbourne Acres Police Department as the premier small police department in eastern Jefferson County. |

5. To increase staffing levels to provide 24 hour police coverage. |
